UniCentral’s Sunshine Coast student accommodation is located right on the boundary of the University of the Sunshine Coast campus.
That is, step outside our security gated student housing complex and onto the footpath leading to the University class rooms and other facilities.
A slow 5 minute stroll will get you to class.
UniCentral is located in Sippy Downs - a fully self-sufficient suburb of the Sunshine Coast. Amenities include supermarkets, fast food outlets, medical centres, pharmacy, hairdressing and a tavern. Lakes and parkland areas provide a green relief in this residential development. Lots of walking, running tracks and outdoor circuit training facilities exist for those concerned with staying fit. It's a safe neighbourhood where it's okay to take peaceful walks, or to train in the park areas in our immediate neighbourhood.
Bus stations at the University of the Sunshine Coast will take you to the Sunshine Coast's amazing surf beaches at Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headlands and the Shopping Centre at Maroochydore. Buses leave for the coastal strip every half hour. Located a 15 minute drive from UniCentral, Sunshine Plaza is the principle activity centre of Maroochydore, home to numerous department stores, shops, cafes, restaurants and cinema.
Or walk to local shops for supplies between 5 minutes stroll to 20 minutes depending on your shopping or banking needs.
There are many sporting venues and fun parks on the Sunshine Coast, including the world famous Australia Zoo, the Big Kart Track and Aussie World.
